Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Pine Grove knocks off Palmerton
September 10, 2022: Palmerton, PA 18071 Pine Grove Cardinals (Pine Grove, PA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 test, on Monday, September 12. Pine Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
With the loss, Palmerton drops to 2-5 on the season. The Blue bombers travel to Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA) to encounter the Lions in a Colonial - South test on Monday, September 12. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-1. Moravian Academy won 4-0 in their recent league test against Bangor (Bangor, PA)
