The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Berthoud for a 3A/4A Patriot challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Wellington will face a Spartans squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Wray/Yuma falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Burlington (Burlington, CO) to face the Cougars in a 3A Lower Platte challenge on Saturday, September 24. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-11.
