The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) and the host Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ), saw Coolidge's volleyball squad nip Gilbert Classical Academy by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Coolidge upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Bears travel to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-8. North Valley Christian Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ)

The Spartans now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to San Tan Charter for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Gilbert Classical Academy will play a Roadrunners squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sequoia Charter (Mesa, AZ). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-3.
