Alabama High School Volleyball - Decatur edged by Wilson
September 10, 2022: Florence, AL 35634 The Wilson Warriors held off the visiting Decatur Red Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a 4A Area 16 test on Tuesday, September 13. Wilson will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-10.
The Red Raiders (9-17) will now prepare for their test against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, Hazel Green held off Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN), 3-1, in a non-league test.
