September 10, 2022: Elwood, NY 11731 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Galway Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the John Glenn Knights.
The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Duanesburg (Delanson, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 2 Western - Northern battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Duanesburg lost by Schalmont (Schenectady, NY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights clash with the Center Moriches Red Devils (Center Moriches, NY) in a Section 11 B-7 battle, on Tuesday, September 13. John Glenn will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hampton Bays (Hampton Bays, NY).
