California High School Volleyball - Mission San Jose edged by Head-Royce
September 10, 2022: Oakland, CA 94602 The Head-Royce Jayhawks held off the visiting Mission San Jose Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jayhawks now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berean Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Head-Royce will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Concord (Concord, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
The Warriors (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Cougars enter the Mission Valley test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Newark Memorial was nudged by Irvington (Fremont, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
