The Nemaha Central Thunder topped the visiting Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Thunder now have a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sabetha for a Big Seven test on Saturday, September 10. Nemaha Central will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-4.

The Nighthawks (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge Christian (Kansas City, MO). The Warriors enter the Midwest Christian test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Blue Ridge Christian gained a win over Heritage Christian (Topeka, KS), 3-2, in a league test.
