The Washington County Commanders volleyball team (Springfield, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY)

The Cardinals (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wayne County nipped North Hardin (Radcliff, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Commanders meet the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Washington County will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record.
