Illinois High School Soccer - Zion-Benton knocks off Lakes
September 10, 2024: Lake Villa, IL 60046 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) and the host Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), saw Zion-Benton's soccer squad knock off Lakes by a count of 6-3.
The Zee-Bees (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Mundelein by Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Lakes moves to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to encounter the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 24. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
