Maryland High School Soccer - Westminster toppled by Linganore
September 10, 2024: Westminster, MD 21157 Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Linganore advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-1. Walkersville lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
The Owls now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Governor Thomas Johnson for a non-league battle on Monday, September 23.
