September 10, 2024: Rochester, IL 62563 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) and the host Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL), saw Normal University's soccer squad hold off Rochester by a count of 2-1.
The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Latin (Chicago, IL). The Romans enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Latin was edged by Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
