New Jersey High School Soccer - Jackson Memorial nudged by Freehold Boro
September 10, 2024: Freehold, NJ 07728 Freehold Boro Colonials (Freehold, NJ) followers went home happy Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad hold off the visiting Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ), 1-0 in a non-league battle.
The Colonials (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Spartans enter the Shore B - North battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Ocean Township was edged by Howell (Farmingdale, NJ), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Jaguars battle the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a Shore A - South battle, on Thursday, September 12. Jackson Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ).
