September 10, 2024: Louisville, KY 40207 The Waggener Wildcats soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Portland Christian Eagles to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Atherton for a District 27 bout on Thursday, September 12. Waggener will play a Ravens squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Ravens record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Portland Christian moves to 3-7 on the year. The Eagles host DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY) to play the Crimsons in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12.
