September 10, 2024: Camilla, GA 31730 In Tuesday's league test, the Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA), by a count of 7-0.
Next, the Blazers meet the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 test, on Thursday, September 12. Baconton Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 11-4 record after their 8-0 league loss to Miller County (Colquitt, GA).
The Eagles (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Spring Creek Charter Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Spring Creek Charter Academy was routed by Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA), 24-5, in a non-league test.
