September 10, 2024: Tulsa, OK 74107 Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK), 9-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Verdigris upgrades its record to 14-1 on the year. The Cardinals host Pryor (Pryor, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, September 30. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 16-2.
The Chiefs now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Kiefer for a non-league game on Thursday, September 12. Berryhill will play a Trojans squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Glenpool (Glenpool, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
