September 10, 2024: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 The Avondale Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Fitzgerald Spartans to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kettering for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. Avondale will play a Captains team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI). The Captains record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Fitzgerald drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. South Lake won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI)
