South Carolina High School Volleyball - Stratford over Colleton County
September 10, 2024: Walterboro, SC 29488 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) and the host Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), observed Stratford's volleyball team top Colleton County by a count of 3-1.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors enter the AAAAA Region 6 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Wando notched a victory over James Island (Charleston, SC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Colleton County will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Sharks enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC).
