September 10, 2024: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans topped the visiting Ethan Rustlers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Titans face the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) in a A Region 5 game, on Thursday, September 12. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Beavers go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Howard (Howard, SD).
The Rustlers (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Menno (Menno, SD). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Menno went down by Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
