September 10, 2024: Gig Harbor, WA 98335 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) and the host Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), observed Lincoln's volleyball team hold off Gig Harbor by a tally of 3-2.
The Abes (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA). The T-Birds enter the 3A Pierce County contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mount Tahoma was tipped by Silas (Tacoma, WA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Tides meet the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 12. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA).
