In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Olympia Spartans.

The Grey Ghosts (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers enter the Illini Prairie challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas More was beaten by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL).
