The Horizon Hawks flag football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Aurora Central Trojans to 0 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Range for a 5A/4A Northern Colorado game on Saturday, September 13. Horizon will face a Mustangs team coming off a 49-0 league win over Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.

The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Mountain Lions come into the 5A/4A Northern Colorado outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Mountain View trounced Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO), 7-6, in a league outing.
