California High School Flag Football - Rio Linda prevails Sutter

September 10, 2025: Sutter, CA 95982

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Rio Linda Knights flag football team scored a nice 19-0 win over the Sutter Huskies.

With the win, Rio Linda improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Knights host El Camino (Sacramento, CA) to play the Eagles in a Golden Empire League battle on Monday, September 15. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-3. El Camino won 13-6 in their recent league battle against Natomas (Sacramento, CA)

With the defeat, Sutter drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Dixon (Dixon, CA) to meet the Rams in a Golden Empire League test on Monday, September 15. The Rams come into the test with a record of 7-0. Dixon won 32-19 in their recent league test against Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA)
