September 10, 2025: San Fernando, CA 91340 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) and the visiting San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), observed Chavez's volleyball squad nudge San Fernando by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Chavez improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a test on Thursday, September 11. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Grant lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Poly (Sun Valley, CA)
The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylmar for a challenge on Wednesday, September 17.
