September 10, 2025: Silver Spring, MD 20905 Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Blake moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Einstein (Kensington, MD) to clash with the Titans in a Class 4A North II test on Friday, September 12. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Blazers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wheaton for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Blair will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
