New York High School Soccer - Kingston nudged by Newburgh Free Academy
September 10, 2025: Newburgh, NY 12550 Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), 3-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Newburgh Free Academy advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Goldbacks travel to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY) to clash with the Bushmen in a Section 9 Division I test on Friday, September 12. The Bushmen come into the test with a record of 2-2. Pine Bush won 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY)
Next up, the Tigers play the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) in a Section 9 Division I outing, on Saturday, September 13. Kingston will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Middie Bears go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY).
