September 11, 2023: Essex Junction, VT 05452 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) and the visiting Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), saw Essex's soccer squad knock off Burr & Burton by a margin of 2-0.
The Hornets now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Mt. Mansfield for a non-league test on Friday, September 15.
With the loss, Burr & Burton drops to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to meet the Redhawks in a non-league test on Monday, September 18. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 1-0.
