September 11, 2023: Williamsburg, KY 40769 The Corbin Redhounds soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host Whitley County Colonels to 1 in the Redhounds non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Redhounds face the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Corbin will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Madison Southern (Berea, KY).
The Colonels now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. Whitley County will face a Briar Jumpers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 2-1.
