September 11, 2023: Culpeper, VA 22701 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) and the host Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA), saw Orange County's volleyball squad nip Eastern View by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Orange County upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Fighting Hornets host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Albemarle won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
The Cyclones now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Spotsylvania for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Eastern View will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Caroline (Milford, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
