The crowd at Monday's league test between the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) and the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), saw Carson's soccer squad get by Lake Norman Charter by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Carson will meet a Black Knights squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-2.
