September 11, 2023: Bristol, NH 03222 Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lin-Wood Lumberjacks (Lincoln, NH), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Friday, September 15. Newfound Regional will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH).
The Lumberjacks now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodsville for a Division IV challenge on Wednesday, September 13. Lin-Wood will confront a Engineers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon, NH). The Engineers record now stands at 1-0.
