September 11, 2023: Harvard, IL 60033 The Marengo Indians topped the host Harvard Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's league test.
The Indians now have a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond-Burton for a Kishwaukee River test on Wednesday, September 13. Marengo will confront a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 9-3.
The Hornets (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers enter the Kishwaukee River test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Plano gained a win over Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
