September 11, 2023: Shannon, MS 38868 Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Troopers battle the Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) in a Class 3 Region 4 match, on Tuesday, September 12. Mooreville will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Lowndes (Columbus, MS).
With the loss, Shannon drops to 9-5 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Amory (Amory, MS) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 12. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 7-9.
