Maryland High School Football - Fort Hill nudges Catoctin
September 11, 2024: Thurmont, MD 21788 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the host Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), witnessed Fort Hill's football squad edge Catoctin by a count of 27-20.
The Sentinels (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Musselman was nudged by Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 32-12, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Catoctin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 24-24 non-league Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD).
