September 11, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), saw R.J. Reynolds's soccer squad hold off Mount Tabor by a count of 1-0.
The Demons (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Northwest Guilford was edged by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Spartans confront the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 16. Mount Tabor will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
