September 11, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110 Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sun Valley improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Spartans host Weddington (Matthews, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 10-0. Weddington won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
The Pumas now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Ridge for a non-league test on Monday, September 16.
