September 11, 2024: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes (Mount Vernon, WA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Auburn Adventist Falcons (Auburn, WA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mount Vernon Christian advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA) to face the Wolves in a 1B/2B Northwest test on Thursday, September 19. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 2-0.
The Falcons now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia Christian Academy for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac test on Tuesday, September 17. Auburn Adventist will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crescent (Joyce, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
