In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Nantucket Whalers.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, St. John Paul II beat Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Whalers meet the Duxbury Dragons (Duxbury, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Nantucket will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Whitman-Hanson Regional (Whitman, MA).
