September 11, 2024: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Lynden Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lyncs host Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to face the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Saturday, September 14. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-1. Ferndale won 3-0 in their recent league test against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Monday, September 16. Mount Vernon will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-2.
