September 11, 2024: Skillman, NJ 08559 Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Montgomery improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ) to face the Red Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 3-0. Hunterdon Central won 2-1 in their recent league test against Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ)
The Stateliners now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rutgers Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Phillipsburg will face a Argonauts squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ). The Argonauts record now stands at 2-1.
