The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Hickman County Eagles (Lyles, TN) and the host Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN), saw East Hickman County's football team prevail over Forrest by a final score of 44-34.

With the win, East Hickman County advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Waverly Central (Waverly, TN) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Waverly Central won 20-18 in their recent league bout against Camden Central (Camden, TN)
