In Thursday's non-league outing, the Jonesboro Eagles (Jonesboro, TX) football squad trounced the host Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX), by a margin of 83-34.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hill Country Knights for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Jonesboro will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 60-0 league loss to Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
