The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mill Creek was nudged by Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 27-20, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Comets battle the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 18. South Gwinnett will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 28-14 non-league win over North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA).
