In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Granite Hills Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Steele Canyon Cougars.

The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Islanders come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.

The Cougars now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy of Our Lady of Peace for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18.
