In Thursday's non-league match, the host Westview Wolverines flag football squad scored a good 33-25 triumph over the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots.

The Wolverines (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Ravens come into the Palomar battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Canyon Crest Academy prevailed over Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA), 19-0, in a non-league battle.

The Pilots now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a City - Western battle on Tuesday, September 16. Academy of Our Lady of Peace will play a Patriots team coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-4.
