Kentucky High School Soccer - Franklin-Simpson knocks off Christian County
September 11, 2025: Franklin, KY 42134 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) and the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), saw Franklin-Simpson's soccer squad triumph over Christian County by a count of 8-1.
The Wildcats (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Warren East nipped Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 1-0, in a league match.
The Colonels now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union County for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Christian County will meet a Braves team coming off a 0-0 non-league Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Braves record now stands at 0-7.
