North Carolina High School Football - Cleveland thwarted by New Bern
September 11, 2025: Clayton, NC 27520 New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), 27-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, New Bern improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. The Bears come into the match with a record of 2-1. Hertford County won 14-0 in their recent non-league match against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
