Michigan High School Football - Clio thwarted by Corunna
September 11, 2025: Clio, MI 48420 Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI), 30-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Corunna upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Brandon (Ortonville, MI) to meet the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Blackhawks go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Owosso (Owosso, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Owosso was dropped by Lake Fenton (Linden, MI), 30-0, in a non-league challenge.
