Michigan High School Football - Valley Lutheran can't hold off Nouvel Catholic Central
September 11, 2025: Saginaw, MI 48603 Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), 12-7 in a non-league match.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Michigan Lutheran Seminary was nudged by Ithaca (Ithaca, MI), 24-18, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Valley Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI).
