In Thursday's non-league match, the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) volleyball squad tipped the host Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA), by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 13. Summit Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).

With the loss, Grove Christian School drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA) to clash with the Wildcats in a bout on Tuesday, September 16.
