September 11, 2025: Apple Creek, OH 44606 Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Christian advances its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Comets host Norwayne (Creston, OH) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 4-1. Norwayne 0-0 in their recent league test against Smithville (Smithville, OH)
The Golden Bears now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Chippewa for a Wayne County outing on Saturday, September 13. Waynedale will play a Chipps squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 4-5.
